Your duties may include
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs on a 1:1 or small group basis.
- Assisting the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
- Encouraging pupils’ social, emotional and academic development.
- Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
- Promoting a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Supporting pupils with communication, sensory and personal care needs where required.
- Helping to manage behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques.
- Recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers and the wider SEN team.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable individuals who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people with SEN. Experience is welcome, but it’s not essential as we have opportunities for those new to the sector.
