We are currently recruiting for a Classroom Support Assistant to join a welcoming SEN Primary School, working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) class. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners at an important stage of their development within a vibrant and supportive environment.

The Role

You will work closely with the class teacher and wider support staff to help create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment for pupils with special educational needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children within the EYFS classroom with daily learning activities
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
  • Encouraging communication, social development, and independence
  • Assisting with play-based learning and structured classroom activities
  • Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with young children or within an EYFS setting is preferred
  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
  • An interest in supporting children with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

This role would suit someone who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them build confidence and independence within their early education.
