English Teacher – SEMH School
Crawley Area | KS3 & KS4 | September Start | Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient English Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in the Crawley area from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them to engage with learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.
  • Supporting students with a range of SEMH needs.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
  • Previous experience working within an SEN and/or SEMH setting (preferred but not essential).
