Key Responsibilities
As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

Supporting students with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence

Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development

Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies

Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Helping students to access learning activities and adapt materials where required

Supervising students during lessons, breaks, and school activities
Who We’re Looking For

Passionate individuals with a genuine interest in education and SEN

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A positive, patient, and flexible approach
