This will include leading small group interventions, delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher, and providing targeted support for pupils with SEND, additional learning needs, and social or emotional challenges.

You will play an integral role in the day-to-day life of the school, contributing to student progress, behaviour support, and inclusive practice, and acting as a positive role model for students.

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
• Support students with SEND to access the curriculum and achieve learning goals
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt and differentiate learning

• Monitor, assess, and feedback on pupil progress
• Support the planning and evaluation of interventions
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Promote inclusion and equal access to learning
• Provide personal care where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• HLTA status or significant experience working at HLTA level
• Experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally including SEN
• Confidence in leading learning and managing small groups or classes
