Contract: 8.30-3.30 | Monday-Friday | Term time only
Salary: £80 – £95 a day

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive team in a SEN secondary school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students aged 11–16 with a range of additional needs.
About the Role
As an LSA, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs

Support students with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties

Assist teachers in delivering personalised and differentiated lessons

Promote independence, confidence, and social development

Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)

Be patient, resilient, and empathetic

Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) – desirable
