Exciting KS2 Teaching Opportunity in Crawley!

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Crawley on a full-time maternity cover basis, starting in January 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive school environment, inspire young learners and make a real difference to pupils’ academic progress and personal development.

We are keen to hear from experienced Key Stage 2 teachers as well as confident ECTs who are looking for their next teaching opportunity.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to support learning.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and parents.
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development throughout the school year.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an eligible Early Career Teacher.
• Has experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally within a mainstream primary school.
• Is confident delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Has strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Is reliable, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality teaching.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
