KS2 Primary Teacher
Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Contract: 0.6 | Maternity post
Start Date: April
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support pupils to achieve their academic potential and develop confidence and independence.
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching in KS2 (or is an ECT with strong potential).
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management.
- Is committed to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils.
- Is a reflective practitioner with strong communication and teamwork skills.
