Master Class Education is recruiting for a Maths Cover Teacher to support a secondary school in Bromley from February half term through to May half term, with the possibility of extension to the end of the summer term.
This position is for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, teaching mainly KS3 Maths. Planning and marking will be required.
Minimum Experience, Training & Qualifications Required
To be eligible for this role and to receive the stated rate of pay, candidates must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS3 Maths in a UK school
- Strong understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum
- Valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Recent classroom experience within the UK
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Maths lessons to KS3 students across Tues/Weds/Thurs
- Plan and mark in line with school policies
- Maintain an engaging and supportive classroom environment
- Support learners of mixed ability
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department and school staff
