This role has been created following an long term sickness cover within the department, presenting an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing academic community and help students develop confidence, fluency, and problem-solving skills in Mathematics.
About the Role
As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:
• Deliver engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience
• Support students in developing strong numerical, algebraic, and analytical skills
• Encourage logical thinking, resilience, and a positive attitude towards mathematical challenge
• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Contribute positively to departmental development and wider school enrichment activities
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or have relevant subject expertise
• Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics
• Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
• Enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting students beyond the classroom
