Primary TA/HLTA

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join primary schools across South and West Yorkshire. Whether you are an experienced TA or looking to take your first step into education, we have opportunities available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing. You may work with individuals, small groups or whole classes, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development across the primary curriculum
• Working with individuals and small groups to provide additional support
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs where required
• Helping to maintain a positive, safe and engaging classroom environment
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good learning habits
• Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
• Assisting with classroom organisation and day-to-day activities
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Reliable, enthusiastic and approachable
• Confident working with children of different ages and abilities
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Patient, adaptable and willing to get involved
• Committed to creating a positive learning environment
• Experienced in a school or childcare setting (desirable but not essential)
