The Role

As the Year 3/4 Teacher, you’ll play an important role in guiding pupils through the middle years of Key Stage 2, helping them build on their knowledge while developing independence and a love of learning. You’ll deliver engaging, creative lessons that challenge and inspire every child, adapting your teaching to meet a range of learning needs.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team where ideas are shared, achievements are celebrated, and everyone works together to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-sequenced lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom where pupils feel confident to learn and achieve.
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils of all abilities and help every child reach their potential.
  • Monitor and assess progress, using assessment to inform future planning.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Promote high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal development.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, particularly Years 3 or 4, although enthusiastic ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for primary education.
  • Is confident creating engaging lessons that inspire children to achieve their best.
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative school community.
