SEN KS3/KS4 Teacher

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (where applicable)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join an amazing team and support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people with additional needs in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
- Adapt the curriculum to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets.
- Create a positive, nurturing and structured learning environment.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and interventions.
- Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, parents and external agencies.
- Contribute to behaviour support strategies and personalised learning plans.
- Support pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and personal development.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching pupils with SEN in KS3/KS4 (mainstream or specialist settings).
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management and inclusive teaching practice.
- Has excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- Is resilient, empathetic and committed to supporting vulnerable learners.
