SEN Supply Teaching Assistant – Worthing

Pay: £80 – £93 per day (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and adaptable SEN Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in the Worthing area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and are looking for flexible work.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging positively in lessons.
- Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Work across a variety of primary and/or secondary settings.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (school experience desirable).
- Be patient, resilient and proactive.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS.
