Masterclass are working with a superb SEN primary school based in Crawley who provide a supportive and nurturing environment for all their students. They are committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential, and they take pride in a strong community spirit and innovative approach to education.
As part of their commitment to inclusive education, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join the team. You will be supporting the students with special educational needs and will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored education to children with a variety of learning difficulties, ensuring each student has access to the curriculum in a way that meets their individual needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with a range of special educational needs is desired but not essential.
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies, including differentiation and behavioural management or willing to learn
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with special needs.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
Must have:
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
