Start Date: Immediate & Ongoing
Pay: £80-£90 a day

About the Role

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs across mainstream and specialist schools. This flexible role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, want to gain experience in different settings, or are looking for work that fits around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Support learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing in the classroom.
  • Assist with differentiated activities planned by the class teacher.
  • Follow EHCPs, behaviour support plans, and school policies.
  • Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times.
  • Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

You will:

  • Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care experience considered).
  • Be patient, adaptable, and confident working in different school environments.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive education.
