Masterclass are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic all-through SEN school in the Burgess Hill area that is looking to welcome two enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to their team this September.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a purpose-built setting with outstanding facilities, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. You’ll help create a positive learning environment, encourage independence, manage behaviours positively and provide tailored support to meet each student’s individual needs.
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Experience working within an SEN school, care setting or similar environment
- Experience supporting individuals with additional needs, autism, learning disabilities or SEMH
- Confidence supporting children or adults with challenging behaviours
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping others reach their potential

Must have:
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
