Year 1 Primary Teacher – Full Time
A welcoming and inclusive primary school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering engaging, creative lessons and supporting children at this important stage as they transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.
The Role
- Full-time Year 1 class teacher
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Creating a positive, stimulating classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with support staff, SEN team, and senior leaders
- Ongoing assessment, marking, and reporting in line with school policy
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in EYFS or KS1, ideally Year 1
- Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development
- Ability to adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND
- Positive classroom management and a nurturing teaching style
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
