About the Class:
You will be teaching a friendly and enthusiastic Year 3 class with a positive attitude to learning. The pupils are generally well-behaved, curious, and eager to engage in lessons, with a supportive team of teaching assistants in place. The class includes a mix of abilities, with some pupils requiring additional support, making this an exciting opportunity for a teacher who values inclusive practice and differentiation.
The Role:
As the Year 3 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development
- Use assessment effectively to inform planning and next steps
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS (or is working towards it)
- Has experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Is passionate about inclusive education and pupil progress
- Is reflective, organised, and committed to professional development
