Salary: MPS 1-6 (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and differentiated lessons, supporting pupils’ academic and personal development, and preparing them for the transition into upper KS2. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons in line with the national curriculum

Support pupils’ progress, confidence, and independence

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

Assess and monitor pupil progress

Work collaboratively with staff and parents
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within KS2 (Year 5 desirable)

Strong classroom management and communication skills
