We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping pupils achieve their full potential during this important stage of their primary education. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school while fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the curriculum
- Prepare pupils effectively for KS2 SATs assessments
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies to ensure a safe learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- High expectations for pupil achievement and wellbeing
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners of all abilities
- A commitment to continuous professional development
